My Health Check (Diabetes/BP/Chol)

All you need is a goal, a plan and the desire to live better. That’s why the American Heart Association (AHA) created My Life Check and the Simple Seven. AHA has created a simple tool so you know where you stand on your road to good health. All of us need to practice these seven steps to live a heart-healthy life, and no one achieves heart health by accident.


The Simple Seven

The Simple Seven is a series of heart health factors established by the AHA, to help you determine where you stand, and set up goals to improve your heart health. The seven factors are:

  • Get Active

  • Control Cholesterol

  • Eat Better

  • Manage Blood Pressure

  • Lose Weight

  • Reduce Blood Sugar

  • Stop Smoking
